Where did you get those shoes?

Although it's always fun to shop while we are travelling, we think that Vancouver has a lot to offer in terms of fashion and boutique shopping. Here's a list of some of our favorite spots around town.

-Casual and ultra-trendy shoes for men and women: John Fluevog, Blundstone, Audley, Kenneth Cole, Birkenstock and more.

Mandula is committed to the use and creation of raw, organic cotton; crinkled hand-dyed silks; boiled, hand-felted wool and cashmere and hand-washed, reclaimed leather. Hajnalka has experimented with natural-dyed cloth using coffee, tea, dirt and berries to create Mandula’s own earthy color palette. Every garment is worked and hand-crafted personally by Hajnalka and her small team in her design studio.

-Sitting on the edge of Vancouver’s storied Gastown is One of a Few, the brainchild of retail wunderkind Michelle Rizzardo. Formerly of The Block (which is, incidentally, just a hop, skip and a jump from One of a Few), Rizzardo brings a bit of charm and whimsy to this cobblestoned corner with a unique and artful selection of clothing and accessories.

-drenched in style for both men and women

-Frye Boots, Camper, Lacoste, Converse

-high-fashion women's clothing from emerging designers from L.A. and New York

High fashion hits Gastown! Roden Grey is a concept store that seeks to bring character to your wardrobe. When you pass the antique doors you enter into a world of fierce style. The décor is edgy and industrial yet refined with wood, stone and custom lighting.

Whether avant-garde or mainstream, this store aims to keep you up to speed on the hippest trends from Europe, Japan and New York. They carry a variety of labels including Wings+Horns, Comme des Garcons, Obedient Son and Nice collective.
